Real Estate Attorney (Renewable Energy) Remote, Austin, or Kansas City

Practice law and have a life. It’s possible to do both with our progressive, AM LAW 100 law firm client who is hiring 2 Senior Associates for its Real Estate/Renewable Energy team.

Required Experience: 5+ years of the following real estate experience (in the renewable energy sector):

• Due diligence reviews of wind and solar projects;
• Negotiating and drafting lease, option, and easement agreements;
• Reviewing and revising purchase and sale agreements and disclosure schedules;
• Coordinating title curative efforts, including reviewing surveys and drafting encroachment agreements for wind, solar, and battery storage projects throughout the U.S.;
• Experience supporting wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.

This role can either “sit in” the firm’s virtual office, working fully remote, or join the team in person on a hybrid schedule in the Austin or Kansas City offices. Other locations might be considered if candidates possess all the requirements described.

Compensation varies by market but is commensurate with Am Law 100 salaries. The range for Denver, Los Angeles, and Oakland areas only is anticipated to fall between $300,000 to $400,000 – a wide range depending on years and relevancy of experience.
