What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review DoubleVerify’s periodic SEC reports, including Proxy Statement and Forms 10-K and 8-K, and advise on developments in securities laws.
  • Manage DoubleVerify’s international entity governance program.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters.
  • Assist in management of DoubleVerify’s intellectual property portfolio.
  • Contribute in a complex, high-volume commercial practice on short deadlines, providing high-level business and legal advice and risk mitigation strategies to key internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and continually improving processes and procedures to increase scalability and efficiency of the legal team.
  • Coordinate with legal team members on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Other legal projects and duties as needed.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or public company.
  • Degree from an accredited law school and active good standing with at least one United States bar.
  • Strong corporate background, with experience advising on securities laws, preparing SEC filings and reviewing, negotiating and drafting contracts.
  • Self-starter who operates autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, customers, vendors and outside advisors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage several initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred location in New York.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $91,000 - $175,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
