Linde Engineering North America LLC Prime Contracts Manager The Woodlands, TX, United States | req15747 What you will enjoy doing* This role supports the Project Manager in executing the Prime Contract obligations with our Clients, and as such:

  • You will prepare the prime contract summary presentation for all members of the project team to clearly delineate scope, obligations, risks and required notices
  • You also will identify, prepare, if applicable defend, and track potential change orders and claims, as a proactive activity, requiring daily interaction with each team member
  • You will be playing an essential role in ensuring all change requests or claims have been thoroughly researched and documented with appropriate references to the Prime Contract through closure
  • Additionally, you will ensure all notice requirements in the Prime Contract and other related agreements, governing
  • laws, or regulations are met
  • You will track and ensure compliance of all project deliverables, including required plan submissions, ongoing submittals, approvals, updates, and revisions are part of your role
  • Further, you will be responsible for issuance of Insurance Certificate, Parent Guarantee and/or Stand-by Letter of Credits per the Prime Contract
  • In this role, you will manage the Owner Control Insurance Program, if applicable
  • You will support subcontract management if requested, including communicating flow-down requirements
  • Also, you will draft and issue Invoices using SAP-SD in accordance with the Milestone Payments and ensure on-time payment
  • And you will manage and update the contract value and payment plan in SAP-SD, and coordinate with Finance and Project Controls in support of cashflow planning
  • Additionally, you will be managing substantial completion, final acceptance and warranties in accordance with the Prime Contract
  • In this role, you will assist preparing internal management reports and project analysis
  • You will interface and provide support to multiple business areas on a timely basis

What makes you great

  • You have a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Project Management or equivalent experience and have minimum 10 years of experience in Prime Contract Management, preferably in the Engineering, Procurement and Contracting industry in Oil & Gas
  • You will have proven experience in managing $10 Million to $300 Million dollar EPC Prime Contracts
  • You are detailed oriented, self-motivated, with strong sense of responsibility and have the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects with a broad understanding of contract law and risk management principles with minimum supervision
  • You have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • You have effective computer skills like Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and other company and discipline specific software applications
