 Come join us! We’re hiring a Legal Assistant to join EA’s Global Affairs team. The Global Affairs team enables EA to inspire the world to play through advocacy, engagement, and partnerships. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Legal Operations and will be based out of one of our EA location in Los Angeles, CA.

 As the Legal Administrative Assistant, you will play an important role on a team of world class a Legal Assistants that connects with all teams within the Global Affairs team.

 

Responsibilities:

Increase the office effectiveness and promote an inclusive and welcoming environment, by the following:

  • Enable the Global Affairs team with administrative tasks including managing schedules, making travel arrangements, and filing expense reports.
  • Organize local office events, department summits, and facilitating team building activities.
  • Onboard new hires and vendors.
  • Maintain the Global Affairs intranet site.
  • Collaborate with different teams from Global Affairs on special projects related to intellectual property and marketing, compliance, and stock administration.

 

General Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Always able to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, manage large workloads, and keep commitments.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and/or Google suite skills.

 

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
  • $27 - $41 USD Hourly

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
