Seeking an experienced attorney with expertise in commercial and consumer bankruptcy to join a top-notch team of bankruptcy experts.
As the Commercial and Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney - Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in our bankruptcy legal team, you will provide expert advice and guidance on commercial and consumer bankruptcy matters, review and approve legal documents, and partner with key internal stakeholders to implement legal strategies. You will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and advising on bankruptcy cases, including critical vendor bankruptcies, and will be expected to form and develop effective legal strategies to mitigate legal, operational, and financial risks. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide legal support to Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) bankruptcy and recovery operations, including advising on bankruptcy legal issues, acting as a trusted advisor to the business in developing and enhancing bankruptcy recovery activities and controls, and ensuring compliance with bankruptcy legal requirements.
