Overview:

• Global multi-strategy hedge fund in NYC - founded in 2017
• Looking for a paralegal to join the legal department in NYC to work on a variety of projects and work primarily on vendor agreements
• Candidate will work directly with the Assistant General Counsel
• Fast-paced environment where the candidate will learn about the hedge fund industry

Responsibilities:

• Arrange internal meetings and conference calls with external parties including vendors and outside counsel
• Assist with documentation organization and execution of vendor agreements, utilizing various contract life-cycle management tools and the document management system
• Assist with drafting of corporate organizational documents, board meeting preparations, entity formation, records, and registration maintenance as well as various ancillary documentation under attorney supervision

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• ~1-2 years’ experience at a law firm or in the legal department of a financial services or investment management firm is preferred
• Knowledgeable and proficient in PC applications
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Comp: $90-110k base + $15-25k bonus
