What will I be doing?
- Investigate, manage, and resolve reported incidents across multiple channels for TikTok, including review of potentially graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive content.
- Communicate results of analyses and escalations with key stakeholders and leadership
- Analyze incident trend data to develop improvements to the overall escalation processes and provide recommendations for process, policy, and/or product improvements
- Be comfortable and exhibit grace when faced with ambiguous and high pressure situations
- Coordinate with global cross-functional teams including other regional Incident Management teams, Public Policy, Legal, Product and Engineering among others to develop solutions
- Drive ad hoc and strategic projects from inception to implementation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of social media challenges, common abuse vectors, and cursory knowledge of current regulatory, or compliance issues
- Flexible with global working hours and weekend availability
Preferred
- Ability to work effectively and demonstrated history of taking ownership of tasks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, and under high pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills -- demonstrated ability to explain complex issues to non-technical or leadership audiences
- A sense of accuracy and acute attention to detail
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities while working seamlessly across teams
- Quantitative skills, data driven mindset, SQL or Excel skills
- Previous Trust & Safety experience at a content-based platform

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $67555 - $142222 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. We offer the following benefits to eligible employees: We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.
