Vaco Boston has partnered with our client who is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join their in-house legal team. They are looking for a highly motivated individual with litigation and bankruptcy experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Handling lawsuits from filing through judgment.
• Collaborating with internal restructuring and accounting teams with respect to preparing matters for litigation.
• Assisting with prelitigation matters
• Engaging and supervising external local counsel to handle out of state matters
• Assisting with other legal matters including bankruptcy and insolvency.
• Managing out-of-state dockets.
• Advising and providing legal analysis to business executives

Key Requirements/Qualifications:

• JD required
• Licensed attorney in Massachusetts.
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Corporate/transactional and/or bankruptcy experience a plus.
• Highly motivated with ability to manage simultaneous projects under deadline pressure in a dynamic and fluid environment.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
