Job Description
We are looking for several Contract Attorneys who will be engaged on an as needed basis. Must be willing to travel locally to represent claimants in SSDI hearings. Desirable localities include: Missouri, Kentucky, Iowa, New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
- Represent claimants in administrative hearings before the Office of Hearing Operations (OHO), working from cases prepared by our internal team of attorneys.
- Draft On-The-Record requests, Pre/Post hearing briefs and Appeal Council briefs;
- Evaluate complex medical records and other pertinent case documents in relation to the current Social Security Rules & Regulations, Code of Federal Regulation, and applicable Circuit Caselaw.
Travel: The candidate must have the ability to travel throughout the local territory to represent claimants at hearings in person.
