Requirements For Contract Vendor Manager Role

• Holds good standing membership in at least one US state bar or possesses a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Position entails a Hybrid onsite/remote work setup.
• Proficiency in contract analysis is necessary.

Responsibilities Of a Contract Vendor Manager

Compliance and Due Diligence:

• Ensure compliance of Third Party contracts with corporate, state, federal, and regulatory requirements, particularly focused on Federal consumer financial laws.
• Conduct upfront and ongoing due diligence evaluations on Third Parties.

Contract Lifecycle Management

• Develop and nurture relationships with key Business partners.
• Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including negotiation, initial drafting, obtaining approvals from Business, Legal, and other stakeholders, execution, and ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Support Legal in reviewing Third Party contract templates.
• Conduct annual reviews of contracts and manage renewals, amendments, or terminations as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and approvals.
• Ensure contracts include necessary service levels, quality standards, security measures, performance metrics, and financial terms.
• Facilitate documentation and reviews to meet corporate requirements.
