The large equipment fleet includes trenchers, chippers, mini-excavators, skid steers, aerial work platform equipment, and tractor loader backhoes among others. We have a large team of highly trained technicians, shop techs, and VIP Delivery Technicians and customer care associates throughout the United States and Canada.

Summary

The Division Audit and Compliance Manager leads the execution, and sustainment of Rental safety and compliance initiatives.

Candidate will be based in (Remote Location)

Primary Responsibilities

The National Field Audit and Compliance Manager will serve as an audit & compliance function for the business unit.

Additionally, in partnership with many stakeholders across the Rental business,

25% Perform routine safety, compliance and inventory audits in the United States and Canada to ensure adherence with OSHA, DOT, ANSI, CSA standards/regulations and The Home Depot policies.

25% Assist with field incident investigation including root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans.

25% Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement by

Championing safety initiatives for the business unit including organizing, participating in divisional and regional safety meetings.

15% Assist with delivering field fleet safety & compliance training.

10% Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
  • Min 5 years’ experience in an audit or safety role.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to +75%
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage change within a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Rental OP’s, store level and field level colleagues in order to provide a safe working environment and spectacular customer experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
