Consilio's client seeks a Legal Aid Attorney with at least 2 years of legal experience.

Job Details:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Location: Onsite
• Duration: 6-12months ( with the possibility of permanent)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Pay rate: $35 per hour

Job Duties:

• The attorney will work with individuals on civil legal matters, including landlord-tenant, family law, consumer, child support, criminal record expungement, employment, and child custody.
• Legal research and writing
• Drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for trial, taking and/or court forms, filings, and other document.
• This position will involve direct representation of individual clients and the attorney should enjoy a people and a public-facing role.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice in a Maryland jurisdiction
• This is an onsite role - Applicants must be willing to commute 5 days a week
• Must have civil law experience

The hourly rate range for this position is $35 per hour. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
