Our Client is a Top Tier International law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City and a rapidly growing corporate governance practice, highly regarded for its depth of expertise and proactive approach to addressing complex regulatory issues. It is now seeking to recruit a high calibre Of Counsel with the remit to;

• Provide expert advice on corporate governance matters to clients
• Interpret and apply securities laws, stock exchange corporate governance standards, and proxy advisory firm policies
• Draft and review bylaws, governance policies, and codes of conduct
• Stay abreast of developments in corporate governance best practices and regulations.

You must have a JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in Washington, DC or New York (or have the ability to waive in) with 8 or more years of experience in corporate governance from a major National or International law firm (sorry, not small firm or in house however relevant). This must include a strong understanding of securities laws, stock exchange  practices & regulation, corporate governance principles and codes of conduct (please ensure your resume includes full reference to demonstrable experience of such)
