JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY: 

Acts as a liason between property Finance leaders and Corporate Finance as it relates to non-gaming compliance matters for Bally’s, Caesars and Harrah’s Atlantic City. Responsible for conducting internal investigations as appropriate in collaboration with Surveillance, Security, Internal Audit and Corporate Fraud and Control departments.

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for conducting internal investigations related to alleged violations of company policies and procedures
  • Reviews all available non-gaming outlet system reports to identify process breakdowns and other irregularities
  • Reviews surveillance footage as needed to ensure cash handling procedures are followed in all non-gaming outlets
  • Conducts periodic audits of non-gaming outlet cash impressments and variance policies
  • Ensures all cash handling personnel in non-gaming areas are properly established in the POS system
  • Ensures coupon settlement codes are requested and set-up correctly for each property
  • Prepares detailed written reports, such as fraud reports as needed.
  • Makes recommendations for improving the effectiveness of policies and practices through operational analysis and critique.
  • Acts within scope of authority and consistent with Company and Corporate objectives, guidelines, policies, and practices
  • Keeps abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicates pertinent information to subordinates and superiors
  • Assists with federal, state and local law enforcement or regulatory agencies, and counterparts of outside organizations on related investigations
  • Assists with other corporate investigation functions as assigned
  • Leads assigned projects upon request

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

College degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. Minimum of three years in Hospitality industry preferred. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough understanding of company policy and procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
