Quest Diagnostics seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to work as part of its award-winning in-house legal team. This Senior Corporate Counsel will be a M&A specialist and commercial generalist. The mix of duties may change from time to time and vary based upon the Company’s needs. Primary responsibilities would include providing strategic legal advice and counsel to internal business partners on M&A, joint ventures and strategic investments and with respect to a range of commercial and transaction activities, including international businesses, collaborations, strategic alliances, master services agreements, and laboratory operations or functional areas or divisions. The successful candidate could proactively support a range of regulatory, contracting, and operations work and general legal needs of internal clients. Initially, it is expected that activities would include drafting and negotiating contracts, and counseling clients on a range of business and legal regulatory issues, including anti-trust and fraud and abuse laws.

The Senior Corporate Counsel will be based at a mutually agreeable location.

  • Duties performed on a daily basis and includes written and oral communication.
  • Supervisory duties not yet determined.
  • The employee will be expected to make periodic presentations to peers in the Legal and Compliance Department, other business functions, and management as well as to serve on and participate in team projects.

Competitive candidates will have a J.D, be duly licensed to practice law, and have 10+ years of relevant experience. Top-tier credentials are required for consideration.
