Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Advise HR and management on employment related legal matters
* Provide advice and legal counsel to HR and management on employee benefits concerns, including plan design, implementation, maintenance, and administration
* Draft, edit, and maintain corporate policies and training materials related to the above
* Coordinate legal investigations internally or in conjunction with outside counsel, if warranted
Provide resolution and/or report results to company management as appropriate
* Work with outside counsel as necessary in response to litigation and other legal matters
* Assist with other legal matters as assigned
* Reports to the General Counsel Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a Juris Doctorate degree and from an ABA approved law school
* Requires active membership in good standing and current authorization to practice law by the State Bar of Georgia, or a state bar association of another U.S.state
* Requires 5 - 7 years' of previous legal experience advising corporate/organizational clients
* Ability to work closely and collaboratively with HR and business partners at all levels of seniority
* Experience and expertise advising organizational clients in any of the following areas: employment law, ERISA and employee benefits law, including legal issues related to 401(k) plan administration, and executive compensation across the organization, while providing business focused legal advice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

DESIRED SKILLS:
* In-house counsel experience preferred but not required
* Expertise in U.S
domestic and international privacy laws a plus
* Experience working with and advising senior management
* Ability and desire to expand range of legal subject matter expertise, and assist as needed across the businessSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S
