Join our Member Experience team where you'll play a role in protecting the Flodesk platform and members from fraudulent or suspicious activities within our customer base. As a Trust & Safety Analyst I, you will report to the Director of Member Experience & Safety, work amongst a growing team of Trust & Safety Analysts, and collaborate with Member Experience professionals. The role includes a blend of areas across email abuse, payment review, account security, and general adherence to Flodesk Terms of Service.

What you'll do:

 

  • Take actions to deter fraudulent activities across the range of Flodesk products and features (email, checkout, etc).
  • Identify trends, conduct deep dive investigations, and provide feedback to management on initiatives that could prevent future issues.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure transparency around the review process and assist them in completing required actions.
  • Meet quality assurance expectations in customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with our Data team to ensure that the Trust and Safety metrics we track are actionable and lead to an achievable strategy.
  • Process payment disputes in coordination with our members to mitigate loss to the business and adverse impacts to customer accounts.
  • Stay informed and educated on Flodesk products and services to ensure compliance with external regulations / requirements.

What you bring:

 

  • 3 or more years of experience in a customer facing role preferred but not required (collections, technical support, etc.)
  • 1 or more years of experience in fraud related roles preferred but not required (compliance, fraud analyst, etc.)
  • Previous Trust and Safety experience is preferred by not required
  • Can handle sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic content, offensive or derogatory language, child safety, and other potentially objectionable material
  • Understanding of abuse trends specific to US cultural norms and sensitivities
  • Effective communicator who can tailor their delivery of content based upon diverse learning styles.
