The Role

LTSE’s Corporate and Regulatory Paralegal will be an essential member of the Exchange’s legal, regulatory and compliance team. This individual will manage critically important compliance and Board management processes. Overall, this person will take ownership of projects, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, create and manage workflows independently.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Compliance/Regulatory
    • Internal audit and examination document management
    • Policies and procedures library maintenance and annual review process administration
    • FINRA reporting document and log management
    • Regulatory record keeping and document management
    • Website uploads of regulatory documents
    • Employee disclosure compliance and training support
  • Legal/General Counsel
    • Board and Committee Minutes drafting
    • Board communications
    • Board meeting scheduling
    • Board portal management
    • Preparation of forms of board materials for each meeting: agendas, decks, resolutions
    • Assistance with onboarding new board members
    • Assistance with Form 1 Filings

Requirements

 

  • At least 4-6 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate, regulatory context.
  • Prior experience creating legal and compliance documents from concept through implementation, and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to take on new initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently create and maintain processes.
  • Ability to generate new approaches and improve existing processes.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional setting.

Nice to Haves

 

  • Resident of New York Tri-state area with occasional in-office attendance (Financial District location), preferred.

In order to support equitable pay and ensure there’s no bias in our compensation process, our philosophy is based on the work being performed. To determine the compensation for the role, we use a data-driven, blended rate approach to ensure we are paying competitively among our peers by benchmarking to companies of similar size and stage and hire at the 50th percentile (midpoint) of the salary range.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000
