This position reports to the Assistant General Counsel and will have responsibility for legal department operations, including managing new and existing matters, purchase orders, administration and maintenance of the matter management data base. The position requires collaboration across the legal department, Keysight finance and legal department vendors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage the legal department electronic billing and reporting system
  • Create and manage billing matters
  • Set up new vendors in the system for payment
  • Intitiate and manage purchase orders
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Support internal usesrs and legal department vendors in use of the legal tracking system
  • Run reports as requested by members of the legal department or Keysight finance
  • Provide assistance to General Counsel's staff on the annual budeting process
  • Manage the month end accrual process with finance to ensure accurate reporting
  • Coordinate with legal department attorneys and outside vendors to facilitate prompt and accurate invoicing, resolution of invoice discrepencies and timely payment of invoices
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new legal department hires
  • Limited administrative asssistance to the AGC
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Winsows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Legal Tracker preferred
  • Exerience working in a legal environment with cross functional teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise, track and follow through on assigned work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and excellent judgment
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments and multi-task
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast changing environment
  • A professional demeanor and the ability to represent the legal department across internal Keysight functions and with legal department vendors and law firms
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

California pay range (Intermediate Level): MIN $111,000 - MAX$186,000

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region

This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program
