The Intake Paralegal is a client-dedicated role that supports the client’s legal department. In this role you will serve as an intake Paralegal and will support the intake process for all litigation. Together, you will deliver world-class support to multiple litigation and legal matters. You will interact with in-house counsel, and to open and provide intake support for all new legal matters. As a Paralegal, you foster a collaborative environment with a can-do attitude and a vision of excellence, inclusivity, and compassion while also being process-oriented and striving for efficiency.
Target Range is up to $80,000 for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Work at direction of Attorneys and Paralegals
- Responsible for the intake process of all legal matters
- Monitor CT Corp and distribute all new matter information appropriately
Additional Responsibilities/Details:
- Opening new cases in proprietary software
- Distribution of new matters to correct practice groups
- Complete projects assigned by attorneys and paralegals
- Support other team members with training and education to encourage best practices and high-quality service
Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years paralegal experience to support litigation team, including intake process
- Strong technical aptitude and interest
- Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams
- Experience conducting research, organizing information, drafting citations, and proofreading and editing documents
- Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters and conflicting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner
- Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others
- Customer service oriented and responsive
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- Experience in Relativity is a plus
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, are essential
