The internet is full of opportunities for distraction, and sometimes it is important to put in place some processes to ensure you keep control over your time. These are my 3 favorite plugins to stay focussed and on task.
StayFocusd is an extension for Google Crome that helps you stay focused on work by restricting the amount of time you can spend on time-wasting websites. Once your allotted time has been used up, the sites you have blocked will be inaccessible for the rest of the day.
Forest is an app helping you stay away from your smartphone and stay focused on your work. The users sets a timer, and once the timer runs, a tree starts growing. Lose your focus, and the tree ... dies. Don't be that gardener.
Taskade is a free task manager that lives in each new tab opened in Chrome. The app comes with handy templates such as a week scheduler, that allows you to keep track of the big tasks this week. You can even invite collaborators to discuss and delegate tasks!
