ALM Media released its 2021 AmLaw 100 ranking. Kirkland topped the ranking with 4.83B in revenues, followed by Latham ($4.3B) and DLA Piper ($3.1B). Top 10 here.

2020 law school grads are facing a difficult market. For 2020 graduates of ABA-accredited law schools, 77.4% had long-term, full-time jobs that required or preferred bar passage, compared to 80.6% for the class of 2019. More here.

IronClad hires Mary O'Carroll, who stood up the legal operations function at Google and helped form the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium CLOC. She is joining the CLM company as its Chief Community Officer. More here.

Consilio and Xact Data Discovery Merger - The two legal services firms have been combined in a deal made by private equity firm Stone Point Capital LLC. More here

Rocket Lawyer Raises $223M in a funding round led by Vista Credit Partners. The online legal service company plans to use the funds to expand internationally. More here

Boundless Immigration Raises $25M - the Seattle-based startup (with significant VC backing) has raised its Series B found led by Foundry Group. More here

Jones Day Emails Published - The law firm was targeted by ransomware group cl0p. A portion of the unredacted emails were published pertaining to the 2019 police raid on the home of social worker Anjanette Young. More here.
