California Poised to Permit Remote Hearings until Mid-2023 - 
Under bill SB 241 - yet to be signed by Gov. Newsom - the CA legislature approved unanimously to remote hearings in civil proceedings to continue through July 1, 2023. More here

Cortical Secures $6M in Series A - the contract-focused NLP analysis company has finished their funding round, led by Ezpada after a $9.1M investment from European Investment Bank earlier this year. More here

Glassdoor Acquires Fishbowl - In a bid to compete with LinkedIn, Glassdoor, the CA-based job and recruiting community has acquired Fishbowl, allowing its 55M monthly users to incorporate the anonymous professional forum under their umbrella. More here.
