Legal Market Projected to Hit $1.2T by 2028 - New research has found that the global legal market will be worth $1.2T by 2028 (up from a valuation of $849B in 2020). The compound annual growth rate is estimated to be 4.4% from 2021 - 2028. More here

Big Law Burnout Prevention - Goodwin Procter will provide “thoughtfully curated week-long trips,” valued at $5,000 to $10,000 depending on lawyers' seniority, joining other firms in launching initiatives that are aiming to reduce lawyer burnout. More here.

Upsolve Files First Amendment Lawsuit Against NY State - The NY-based bankruptcy nonprofit has filed suit against the state AG in an effort to allow people to receive free legal advice over debt collections. More here

US Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer Will Retire - Justice Breyer, the courts' oldest member, announced his plans this week to retire this year after nearly three decades of serving. More here
