The US Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion after almost 50 years in a decision that will lead to all but total bans on the procedure in about half of the states. More here.

Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality in 2022 - The Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index is a benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to the LGBTQ+ community. They've put together a list of 842 businesses that met all the criteria to earn a 100% rating for best places to work. More here

BigLaw Pay Trends - Recent survey data shows that as women lawyers rise through the ranks to equity partner, the pay gap increases. The latest numbers from 2020 show female equity partners made 78% of what their male counterparts made. More here.

Hiring freezes and layoffs are hitting as the tech sector prepares for a predicted recession. Since May, tech startups have laid off nearly 27,000 workers, according to layoffs.fyi, roughly double the total number of layoffs recorded in all of 2021. More here.

AirSlate Secures $51.5M - The workflow automation solutions company finished its funding round led by G Squared, UiPath. This round follows $90M in debt financing and equity funding last year. More here.
