Apple Shelves Plans to Use China's Yangtze Memory Technologies' Memory Chips in their products. Apple had already completed the process to certify YMTC's 128-layer 3D NAND flash memory for use in iPhones. After US Senators protested the company's decision to do business with YMTC, they changed their direction.
