Rose Marie Glazer: AIG's New General Counsel

In a recent announcement, American International Group, Inc. (AIG) revealed that Rose Marie Glazer has been appointed as the General Counsel, overseeing AIG's legal, compliance, regulatory, and government affairs functions. This move comes after Glazer was announced as Interim General Counsel on October 1, 2023.

Rose Marie Glazer, an accomplished professional, has an impressive track record in the corporate world. She joined AIG as the Chief Human Resources & Diversity Officer on January 1, 2022. Throughout her tenure, Glazer has demonstrated exceptional legal, business, and governance expertise, which led to her appointment as Interim General Counsel. Her contributions to AIG's progress have positioned her as a highly qualified leader for this important role.

Peter Zaffino, AIG Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, expressed his confidence in Glazer's abilities, stating that her demonstrated expertise reaffirms her suitability for the General Counsel position. Additionally, Glazer will play a crucial role in guiding AIG's governance and policy decisions, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and collaborating with colleagues across different business units.

Glazer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role as General Counsel of AIG. Her background includes being National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship Certified, a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association, and a participant in the Partnership for New York City's David Rockefeller Fellows program.
