Hiring and Working During the Pandemic:

Virtual interviews
Virtual and on-site employee on-boarding and training.
Hybrid work model (Splitting time between working remotely and in the office). In person training is a big part of culture and new employees should be prepared to train on site and in person with a hybrid work model available upon completing the training period.

Responsibilities:

Assist the staff attorney in drafting and negotiating contracts
Assist the attorney in regulatory and corporate filings
Conduct review of complaints regarding claims from policyholders, gather information and draft responses, and submit them to the state.
prepare quarterly reports to management.
Be invited to participate in conversations between the staff attorney and other members of the department with outside parties regarding contract negotiations, regulatory filings, responses to regulators and etc.
