Hiring and Working During the Pandemic:
  • Virtual interviews
  • Virtual and on-site employee on-boarding and training.
  • Hybrid work model (Splitting time between working remotely and in the office). In person training is a big part of culture and new employees should be prepared to train on site and in person with a hybrid work model available upon completing the training period.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the staff attorney in drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Assist the attorney in regulatory and corporate filings
  • Conduct review of complaints regarding claims from policyholders, gather information and draft responses, and submit them to the state.
  • prepare quarterly reports to management.
  • Be invited to participate in conversations between the staff attorney and other members of the department with outside parties regarding contract negotiations, regulatory filings, responses to regulators and etc.
  • perform legal research

Qualifications:
  • Strong aptitude for contracts
  • Excellent research skills
