Under the direct supervision, performs advanced casework of considerable difficulty providing emotional support, information and services to crime victims.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years work experience, preferably in criminal justice, counseling, or social services.
Education:
A two-year college degree in a social or behavioral science or criminal justice. Relevant experience in the victim services field may be substituted for the aforementioned education.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courteous and professional behavior when interacting with victims, the public and other professionals.
Other Skills:
Ability to build rapport with individuals of various socioeconomic, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
