Legal.io is working with several established and growing tech companies seeking 100% remote, experienced commercial attorneys to provide support to their growth-oriented sales teams.
What You’ll Do / Who You Are:
- Provide commercial contracting support for enterprise sales teams
- Work autonomously though within the scope of commercial playbooks to review, redline, draft, and turnaround commercial agreements within stated deadlines.
- Draft, review, analyze and interpret complex outbound technology licensing agreements for technology products and services, including software, hardware, cloud, SaaS, and managed services.
- Work with legal, commercial, and sales teams to facilitate speed to contract, while ensuring that relevant risks are readily identified, escalated where necessary, and appropriately addressed and mitigated in accordance with company protocols.
- Attend meetings as necessary for the negotiation of relevant deals (e.g. meetings with opposing parties or internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating enterprise sales deals within an in-house legal department
- JD
- Licensed member of the bar in a US jurisdiction
Role Details:
- Recurring client needs - strong commercial attorneys will have the ability to take on multiple engagements with multiple clients
- Location: 100% remote
- 1099 roles - attorneys will be expected to meet deadlines and attend meetings as necessary to turn around work product, but otherwise can work flexibly setting their own hours and expectations
