This internship is a part of a 10-week summer internship program opportunity. This role will be based at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join various teams within Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience within the Legal team. Archer’s legal department is looking for interns to assist its Employment, IP, or Commercial attorneys, or a combination thereof. Interns in Archer’s legal department will gain insight into in-house legal work in a fast-paced and emerging industry.   

  • Leverage data insights to make thoughtful decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction
  • Work to accomplish objectives strategically and efficiently
  • Communicate frequent updates to key stakeholders and Archer leaders on progress and barriers to success
  • Manage legal team logistics, as needed

 

What You Need:

  • Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year student in law school (2L or 3L)
  • Analytical skills and preferably experience with data analysis
  • Strong sense of judgment, attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop materials for internal and external audiences
  • Flexible and adaptive work ethic when asked to contribute to special projects across different teams as they arise
  • Competent problem-solving and confident self-starting skills
  • Curiosity and the ability to respond to new ideas and projects with enthusiasm and a sense of possibility
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, including time management and project management skills
  • Ability to maintain a team-oriented approach and thrive in entrepreneurial, dynamic environments
  • High standards for accuracy, quality, and integrity
  • Aligned with Archer’s core values 

 

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Technical background or education in engineering, software or aerospace. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of EV, aerospace, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of aerospace materials, SAAS, staffing, and/or service agreements
