We are actively seeking a Healthcare Fraud & Abuse Compliance Attorney located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications:

  • 10 years of specialized experience in healthcare fraud and abuse law, providing legal counsel and guidance on matters related to healthcare fraud and abuse laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • In-depth expertise in navigating complex regulatory frameworks related to healthcare fraud, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling healthcare fraud investigations, prosecutions, and litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry practices, billing regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Background in conducting internal investigations, compliance audits, and risk assessments within healthcare organizations or the similar.
  • Skilled in providing legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on healthcare compliance matters, including privacy laws, payer requirements, and broader healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment where adaptability, creativity, and innovation are valued attributes and where rapid iteration and agile methodologies drive progress and success.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Bar Association.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our innovative social tech client on the following:

  • Service as a subject matter expert on healthcare fraud and abuse matters, providing counsel and education to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Advise clients on structuring healthcare transactions and arrangements to comply with fraud and abuse laws.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance officers and healthcare executives, to develop and implement effective compliance programs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging legal trends, regulatory developments, and healthcare fraud and abuse enforcement priorities.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance within healthcare organizations.
