has an opening for a full-time Paralegal/ Contracts Specialist to support our Company Headquarters located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be a part of the Mission Support team and support the Contracts Department
Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Database management of contract data in Deltek Contracts Management (CM) system to include inputting and monitoring data for accuracy and report writing management.
  • Assist with completing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and Teaming Agreement (TA)
  • Record and track Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and Teaming Agreement (TA) data (company name, contact info, effective and expiration dates)
  • Track contract progress, deadlines, and expirations.
  • Review modifications to and/or extensions of contracts.
  • Examine contract performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in auditing general terms and conditions of contracts and other agreements for compliance with internal company policies, requirements, and procedures.
  • Assist in analyzing and completing information for Request for Proposals (RFP), RFIs, and various data calls and/or similar government solicitations,
  • Monitoring contract execution against plan and funding and preparing timely status reports.
May Perform other duties as assigned:
  • Assists Facility Security Officer (FSO) with ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) as well as various other agencies.
  • Complete and submit security packets for contract personnel for various contracts within the Department of Defense and Department of Justice.
  • Provides daily functional support to personnel, physical, and information security requirements. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of changes in security rules and procedures.
  • The AFSO works to handle processing personnel clearances, employee briefings, visit requests, providing a wide variety of duties in the administration of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government security regulations.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • At minimum, a completed Paralegal certificate or a completed bachelor’s degree with minimum two years (2) of relevant experience as a Contract Specialist.
  • Experience working with General Services Administration contracts (GSA).
  • Experience in the management of Federal Government contracts, DoD contracts, teaming agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), consulting agreements, other contractual agreements, and/or a working knowledge of Task Order/Delivery Order Contracts.
  • Experience with Small Business Administration (SBA) routine filings and other social designations.
  • Experience with compliance, operational risk, and successful track record for completing audits desired.
  • Knowledge of FAR/ Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and other government regulations preferred

Security Requirements:

Clearance Level Required (may be obtained upon hire): Secret
