Coca-Cola Diversity Directive for Outside Counsel Never implemented - The directive requires outside law firms to use diverse lawyers for at least 30% of their billed attorney time on new matters. Their current GC has stated the diversity requirements, 'have not been and are not a policy'. More here

Athennian Closes Series B with $33M - The Canadian-based legal tech company announced the fundraising round was led by Centana Growth Partners with support from previous investors; Arthur Ventures, Touchdown Ventures and more. More here.

Hacker Steals $625M From Blockchain in NFT Game - In one of the largest decentralized finance hacks yet, one hacker stole roughly $625M worth of cryptocurrency from Ronin, a blockchain underlying popular crypto game called Axie Infinity. More here

DOJs Google Maps Anticompetitive Probe Results Could Ripple Outside Auto Industry - The DOJ is investigating Google Maps and its forced bundling policies with other Google services in cars that incorporate the Alphabet company's Android Automotive platform. More here

Colorado Supreme Court Amends Cyberbullying Law Language - In a March 28 opinion, the court ruled the phrase 'intended to harass' in its cyberbullying law violates First Amendment protections, as well as a free speech provision in the state constitution in that it restricts protected speech. More here

Barclays Estimates $600M Loss From Securities Error - The British bank issued securities that exceeded the amount registered in the US by about $15B. The mistake triggered a right of rescission that requires Barclay to buy back the affected securities at the original purchase price. More here.

AltaClaro Raises $2.5M in Seed Round - The Houston-based legal training tech platform announced the close of its seed round led by Bryce Catalyst with participation from LearnStart and Orrick's Legal Technology Fund. More here.
