Legal job market continues its climb, adding 3,000 jobs in June. Legal employment in June was 1,185,600 jobs, 22,600 jobs higher than the pre-pandemic high of 1,163,000 legal jobs set in February 2020. More here.

EU Agrees on Landmark Crypto Regulation - A new law known as Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) was agreed upon by EU officials last week. This is the first attempt at creating a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets in the EU. More here

Dutch Parliament Approves WFH as a Legal Right - Working from home as a legal right in the Netherlands is awaiting final approval in the Dutch senate. This law is would force employers to consider employee requests to WFH as long as their professions allow it. More here

Legal Tech Funding Takes a Dip - Legal Complex shows that the VC investment crunch for legal tech has arrived with Q2 showing the lowest number of funding rounds since Q2 2018. More here

Google Will Start Auto-Deleting Abortion-Related Data from user location history. This will include visits to abortion clinics, domestic violence shelters, weight loss clinics, and other potentially sensitive locations from users' location histories. More here
