News Digest: A $1.4T case, three legal AI launches, and one of our own

This week's digest with the latest Legal.io trends, insights, and updates to help you navigate your legal career.

Happy Saturday!

There's a new legal AI launch every week now.

Last week, Microsoft launched a Legal Agent inside Word. This week, Legora announced Legora aOS, and Harvey unveiled Harvey Moot, the AI sparring partner Neal Katyal credits with helping him win the $1.4T SCOTUS tariffs case. And it's not just well-funded teams: ex-Latham associate Will Chen open-sourced Mike OSS, a free, feature-equivalent rival to Harvey and Legora that he built in two weeks.

All of those changes reshape how legal professionals practice.

At Legal.io, we've been reshaping the layer around it: spend and talent. It's where the highest-leverage decisions in any legal team get made: who you hire, how much you spend, and how the team operates.

Stay tuned for our own announcement next week. If you’ll be attending CLOC in Chicago, stop by Booth #213 for a live preview.
